About David Israelsohn
David Israelsohn is an associate at Robinson Heeney, and currently practices in all areas of employment law. Prior to joining Robinson Heeney, David articled and worked at a boutique labour and employment law firm in downtown Toronto.
David provides advice and representation to both employers and employees on a wide range of employment issues including wrongful dismissals, employment standards, employment contracts, human rights and accommodation, and related court litigation.
David graduated from the J.D. program at Queen’s University in 2015. While attending law school, David worked as a Summer Law Student at Connect Legal, a business law clinic in downtown Toronto, where he gained valuable insight and provided strategic advice on employment law issues facing small businesses. David also worked for a preeminent criminal defense lawyer, where he developed a strong foundation in litigation. Prior to attending law school, David graduated with Distinction from Western University, where he was awarded the Western University Gold Medal for his academic achievements.
In his spare time, David tries to remain active playing Hockey, Golf and Cycling. He also enjoys playing and listening to all genres of music, and is an avid Netflix watcher.
